Vicenza stone is a sedimentary stone which maintains, in its inner side, fossils and shells. lt Is quarried from tunnels spread in the Berici Hills, placed in the middle of the Pianura Padana. This stone has always been used by the most famous architects to decorate villas and gardens, which ore renown, all over the world, as the stone they are decorated with. lt Is sculpturing this ancient material that we run over its history ago in, rediscovering forgiven customs and trades. lt is for this reason that we chose materials which are closed to men’s liFe, as stones, steel, wood and finally glass. All worked-by-hand materials not for necessity but for cultural expression. In this new collection Officine Creative presents a production moving from the contemporary sculpture to design. All handcraft elements in which study and creativity melt to the hand-work.
